The mid control is completely stand alone and not part of a typical "tone stack", which tends to also limit their functionality. The Black Tooth 50 prototype was literally built a few days before the show. It is the big brother preamp to what is housed currently in the Rotten Johnny.

The Dirt Weighing in at a very reasonable 28 pounds with dimensions similar to a Fender Blues Junior (18″ x 16″ x 10.5″), the Rotten Johnny is an open-back 1×12 combo constructed of solid dovetail-jointed pine.

The stock RJ is a 6V6 amp but this one was a custom order with EL84's. It has an effects loop, Mid Lift switch (which is also foot switchable), and a three position switch that changes the EQ curve. It has a solid state rectifier, and I will include a JJ GZ34S rectifier tube. Comes with a WGS Green Beret 25 watt speaker.
